The first step in a person becoming a manager, coach or umpire involves a volunteer filling out a Little League Volunteer Application Form, and each person must successfully pass a background check.
The next step in the appointment process is for the board of directors to discuss and then approve or disapprove each manager or coach appointment.
The final step is for the president to appoint managers and coaches and umpires at his/her discretion.
